NAME: Duane Edgar Graveline (M.D.)
- NASA Astronaut
- Born March 2, 1931, Newport, Vermont.
- Received bachelor of science degree from the
University of Vermont (1952), doctor of medicine degree from
the University of Vermont Medical School (1955), master of
science in public health from Johns Hopkins University (1958).
- Served in the U.S. Air Force, and was chosen with the
fourth group of astronauts in 1965. Dr. Graveline resigned from
NASA in August 1965 for personal reasons and took a position with
the State of Vermont Department of Health. He later resigned that
position and set up his own practice, the Health Maintenance Center,
in Colchester. Vermont.
